Professional qualifications

Dentistry, Medicine and Podiatric Medicine is now offered at postgraduate level. All applicants for these courses will now need to study an undergraduate bachelor degree first.

Doctor of Medicine (MD)

  • The Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree is a four-year full-time professional degree course.
  • The MD will have its first intake of graduate applicants in 2014.

Provisional entry and preparatory course

The School assists indigenous students to gain entry to postgraduate degrees at UWA through successful completion of the Aboriginal Pre-Medicine and Dentistry Program preparatory course.

Postgraduate courses

We provide numerous postgraduate opportunities through coursework programs such as graduate certificate, graduate diploma and master's courses. Research programs are offered at master's, PhD and higher doctorate levels.
