The Graduate Diploma of Dental Public and Primary Health is designed to be an appropriate broad-based course of study for a person who wishes to pursue a career in dental public and primary health.
This program fosters the development of critical analysis and research competence as well as an advanced set of knowledge and skills in dental public health. Two streams are offered, one in public dental health and a second in rural and remote dental health (not currently available).
Course outline
The Graduate Diploma in Dental Public and Primary Health is offered in two streams, Public Dental Health or Rural and Remote Dental Health.
Public Dental Health Stream
The Public Dental Health Stream consists of:

Rural and Remote Dental Health Stream
The Rural and Remote Dental Health Stream consists of:

Admission requirements
Entry to the Graduate Diploma in Dental Public and Primary Health requires:
- a Bachelor of Dental Science from this University, or equivalent as recognised by the Faculty
or
- a bachelor's degree from this University containing a significant component of dental health related coursework, or equivalent as recognised by the Faculty
- at least two years relevant experience in public or primary dental health
English Language Competence
All UWA coursework programs have a minimum level of English language competence necessary, for both Domestic and International students.
