The Master of Aboriginal Health is designed to enable students to investigate current issues regarding Aboriginal health and health care, giving due consideration to Aboriginal knowledges, western biomedical knowledge, ethics, and a range of research methodologies.

Course outline

This Master's by thesis and coursework consists of:

1 full-time; 2 part-time

Admission requirements

Admission to the Master of Aboriginal Health requires:

  • a bachelor's degree in a health-related discipline from this University, or equivalent as recognised by the Faculty

or

  • a level of prior professional health-related experience which, in the opinion of the Faculty, would enable the applicant to complete the course.

All UWA research programs require English Language Competence
