Dr Adele Millard

Adele Millard holds a recently-completed PhD and a BA(Hons) in anthropology from UWA, and an MBA from Deakin University. She is an academic researcher assisting A/Prof Loretta Baldassar on: the Australian Research Council Discovery study entitled Ageing and New Media: a new analysis of older Australians’ support networks; a Worldwide Universities Network (WUN) multidisciplinary appreciative inquiry into meaningful engagement for people from CaLD backgrounds who are ageing with dementia in residential care; and a WUN scoping study into intergenerational roles and equity in health and community care.  Adele also has 18 years applied anthropological experience, particularly focusing on health, heritage, education, social justice, and strategic development in rural and remote communities:
