Through the diversity of our disciplines and centres, we will enhance and improve the health care of Western Australian communities through education, research and community service.

In pursuing this mission, the School (SPARHC) has a clear vision of its role, values and responsibilities, and it acknowledges the importance of Indigenous and rural health.

SPARHC will use its diverse strengths to become a nationally and internationally recognised focus of excellence and innovation championing the cause for comprehensive health care. It will:

  • provide comprehensive undergraduate, postgraduate and vocational training to recruit and retain a diverse health workforce with the knowledge and skills to reduce health inequity and provide high-quality health care across all population groups
  • conduct high-quality, multidisciplinary, relevant research and scholarship to inform education, policy development and clinical practice
