Outer Urban Clinical School

The outlines listed below provide detailed information about the units you can study.

Information about units is provided through WebCT (login required), the UWA handbook, and directly from pages in Current Students.

General Practice also provides you with the opportunity to expand your areas of interest by offering a number of option units in the area of General Practice in both third year and fifth year. These units cover areas such as aolescent sexual health (in collaboration with the Australian Medical Association), care of patients with chronic disease in the community, and rural research projects.

In addition, fifth-year students may opt for a two-week stint with the Royal Flying Doctor Service or in GP obstetric practice.
